Inter target Nahitan Nandez looks set to leave Cagliari before the end of the transfer window, though it is not clear whether he will move to the Nerazzurri or to rivals Atalanta.

This according to today’s print edition of Cagliari-based newspaper L’Unione Sarda, who report that the Uruguayan is likely to depart from the Rossoblu, but that Inter will face competition from the Bergamo-based club in the chase for his signature.

Nandez is pushing for a move away from his club, and the Sardinian side look ready to grant him his wish, though it is not clear whether Inter will be the club to bring him in.

The Nerazzurri had been close to an agreement with Cagliari earlier in the month and still consider him a target, but he is no longer a priority and is now on the radar of Atalanta as well.

La Dei could include forward Sam Lammers going the other way as part of a deal to bring in the 25-year-old.

It remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri will go all in for Nandez in the last week of the window or whether they will lose out to Atalanta, but his departure from Cagliari looks likely and they could move for him.
