Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella received the prestigious award of best midfielder in Serie A for the 2020-21 season, in which his impressive performances helped the Nerazzurri lift the Scudetto for the first time in eleven years.

The club have congratulated their young star in a post on their official Instagram account, showing the 24-year-old picking up his trophy prior to the kickoff of Saturday’s Serie A season opener against Genoa at the San Siro, looking proud.
