Inter are looking to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca before the transfer window closes, but they will face competition from Hellas Verona for his signature.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the 22-year-old is a target for the Nerazzurri as they look to complete their transfer business with one more attacking signing.

The Nerazzurri are all but done with signing Joaquin Correa but their transfer business may not be concluded, as they are still interested in one more attacker in the form of Scamacca.

The 22-year-old’s main concern is joining a club where he will receive regular playing time, and for this reason Verona believe that they can convince him on a move ahead of the Nerazzurri.

Both clubs are trying to convince Sassuolo to open up to a loan move for the player in the last few days before the transfer market comes to an end.
