Young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo could be on the move soon, with Genoa hoping to wrap up a loan signing for the 19-year-old soon.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Griffone are in pole position to bring the Italian forward in for next season on a dry loan, and could complete the signing by tomorrow.

Salcedo returned to Inter from two years on loan with Hellas Verona over the summer, and his immediate future has not been clear but a loan away to develop has always looked the most likely possibility.

A number of clubs showed an interest in the 19-year-old, but it is Genoa who are set to get a loan deal for him over the line.

Both clubs will hope that the deal can be done very soon with the transfer window closing in less than a week and the Serie A season already underway.
