Monaco striker Keita Balde is still on Inter’s radar, and they could make a late push to sign him on loan with a purchase option before the transfer window closes.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Senegalese forward is hoping for a move to Inter despite the interest of Valencia and that he could extend his contract with Monaco by one year and then move to the Nerazzurri on loan.

Balde could move before the end of the window, and La Liga side Valencia are currently among the side most closely pursuing him, but his agent Federico Pastorello has proposed a loan operation for him to Inter as well.

The Nerazzurri are the 26-year-old’s preferred destination, and a deal could still be done before him in the next few days before the window slams shut.

Balde enjoyed his best goalscoring form under current Nerazzurri manager Simone Inzaghi when the pair were together at Lazio, and a reunion could be on the cards.
