Inter could face competition for the signature of Monaco striker Keita Balde, with the likes of Sampdoria and Valencia hovering over the Senegalese forward.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that Sampdoria would like to bring the 26-year-old back after a loan spell last season, but that Valencia are currently in pole position to sign him.

Balde is still on the Nerazzurri’s radar, with the former Lazio striker liking the idea of a reunion with former Biancocelesti manager Simone Inzaghi at Inter, where he also spent one season on loan, during the 2018-19 campaign.

The club could still make a late push for the 26-year-old in an effort to make one final addition to their attack, but they could be behind the likes of Sampdoria and Valencia in their pursuit of him.

It remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri would go all in for the striker before the window slams shut or whether another of his suitors will win the chase for him.
