Inter are set to make one change from the starting lineup that faced Genoa in their Serie A opener for tomorrow’s match away at Hellas Verona.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the returning Lautaro Martinez will come in for Stefano Sensi in the starting eleven, which will take the form of manager Simone Inzaghi’s preferred 3-5-2 formation.

Martinez was absent from the Genoa clash due to suspension, having picked up an accumulation of yellow cards towards the end of last season, and the Argentine was also recovering from a minor muscle problem.

However, the 24-year-old is now injury-free and ready to make his first competitive appearance under Inzaghi, and he is expected to do so from the start.

After the manner of the Nerazzurri’s emphatic 4-0 win over the Griffone no other changes will be made to the lineup for the Verona trip, but it will be Martinez rather than Sensi who plays alongside new signing Edin Dzeko up front.
