Midfielder Arturo Vidal has no intention of leaving Inter, and he has made clear that he will remain at the club for the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Chilean has refused all offers to move away and wants to stay on for the remaining season of his contract.

Vidal was brought in from Barcelona last summer but despite starting regularly upon his arrival he was not able to make a major impact especially during the second half of the season when he was frequently ruled out with injuries.

The club have been hoping to move him on this summer due to the size of his wages, but it is these wages that have proved an obstacle to being able to reach an agreement with any of his suitors.

The player for his part wants to stay for the season, and he has made clear that he does not want to depart.
