Inter could still make a late push to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca before the transfer window slams shut.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 22-year-old is still on the Nerazzurri’s radar despite claims by CEO Beppe Marotta that the club’s transfer window is over, especially in the event that Martin Satriano.

Inter have now brought in two strikers this summer in the form of Roma’s Edin Dzeko and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa, but they could still return to the market one more time to reinforce their attack.

Scamacca is known to be a player admired at the club, and his arrival could be seen as the last piece of the puzzle in forward areas especially given that young Uruguayan striker Satriano’s future is not certain and Alexis Sanchez is not considered reliable to his persistent struggles with injuries and fitness.
