Inter target Andrea Belotti will not be leaving his current club Torino, according to the club’s head coach Ivan Juric.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Granata’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina tomorrow, as reported by FCInterNews, the Croatian tactician made clear that he expects to have Belotti available in his squad for the rest of the season.

Belotti had reportedly been among the Nerazzurri’s targets as they looked for one more attacking reinforcement for the summer transfer window up until a few days ago, but now that Joaquin Correa’s signing from Lazio has been concerned it looks unlikely that he will arrive.

The 27-year-old, who joined the Granata from Palermo in the summer of 2015, is yet to sign a new contract with his club and his current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2022, so his future is up in the air, but his coach has clearly stated that it is certain he will remain with the club for at least one more season.

“He will not go away, he gave me his word that he is staying and that he is the captain. He also trained whilst feeling pain – he is 100% staying.”
