AC Milan are interested in signing Brest midfielder and Inter linked Romain Faivre before the window closes.

As reported by French newspaper L’Equipe earlier today, the Rossoneri are pushing to sign the 23-year-old French trequartista, having made an initial offer of €10 million last weekend.

Brest want around €15 million for Faivre, who is contracted to the Ligue 1 side until 2025.

AC Milan are expected to make another attempt to sign the 23-year-old Faivre this weekend, and are hoping that the player’s desire to make the move will help facilitate a deal.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Faivre is expected to be in the Brest squad for tomorrow’s league match against Strasbourg, being one of the more talented players in the squad.

Italian broadcaster Sportmediaset suggested that Favire was a possible Inter target for next season, meaning the club may lose out on the player to their rivals. As for this summer window, the Nerazzurri are not planning any new signings.
