Correa Earnt The Highest Rating In Inter’s 3-1 Win Over Hellas Verona Following Brace

Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa earnt the highest praise for his brace against Hellas Verona yesterday.

As reported in today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the 27-year-old’s debut performance was incredible, with the player winning the game for the club thanks to his two goals. He received an 8 rating.

Another player who impressed was talented Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni, who was given a 7 rating for his defensive contributions.

Coach Simone Inzaghi, Stefan de Vrij, Matteo Darmian and Lautaro Martinez were all given a rating of 6.5, performing above average in the 3-1 win.

Edin Dzeko, Federico Dimarco, Ivan Perisic, Nicolo Barella and Milan Skriniar all were given 6 ratings, having a decent game as well.

The other Inter players were a little more disappointing, all receiving a 5 or 5.5 rating.

Inter’s next game is against Sampdoria on 12th September, after the upcoming international break.

The Nerazzurri will then play their Champions League opener against Real Madrid on 15th September.
