Inter forward Joaquin Correa was widely praised for his debut brace against Hellas Verona last night.

As collected by Italian media outlet L’interista earlier today, the 27-year-old Argentinian forward was applauded by the local press for his incredible performance against the Gialloblu in yesterday’s 3-1 win, scoring a late brace to secure the three points for the Milanese club.

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport gave Correa an 8 for his fantastic debut, and there was no protest from either Rome based Corriere dello Sport or Turin based Tuttosport, who both also gave him a rating of 8.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was incredibly keen to sign the 27-year-old Correa this summer, knowing him well from their time together at Lazio.

Correa, who will join Inter next summer in a deal worth €31 million total, has already started to prove that the investment was well made, and he’ll look to impress again against Sampdoria on 12th September.
