Veteran goalkeeper Samir Handanovic did not play well in Inter’s 3-1 win over Hellas Verona last night.

As collected by Italian media outlet L’interista earlier today, the 37-year-old Slovenian shot stopper struggled to impress in yesterday’s match, giving the Gialloblu a 1-0 lead following a completely mistaken pass played to Marcelo Brozovic.

Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport gave the former Udinese goalkeeper a 4.5 rating for his disappointing performance, which Turin based newspaper Tuttosport agreed with.

Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport was a little more positive, giving Handanovic a 5.0 rating for his play.

The 37-year-old Handanovic, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until next year in 2022, will be hoping to bounce back after the upcoming international break, when the Milanese club will face Sampdoria.

The Slovenian veteran is set to remain Inter’s main goalkeeper this season, but the Milanese club need to find a long-term replacement soon, with the player turning 38 next year.
