Inter forward Joaquin Correa’s flying start is just the latest in a long line of incredible Nerazzurri debuts.

As reported in today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, a memorable Inter debut was Alvaro Recoba’s in the 1997/98 season, where he scored a brace against Brescia on the same day that star Ronaldo made his debut as well.

Two years later, on the opening game of the 1999/2000 season, Christian Vieri send the Nerazzurri faithful wild with his hattrick against Hellas Verona.

In the season of the Treble, Wesley Sneijder impressed on his debut in an exciting 4-0 derby win over intercity rivals AC Milan.

Finally, in January 2011 Giampaolo Pazzini scored two goals in less than half an hour in a 3-2 win over Palermo.

Correa’s debut is the latest in a long line of strong starts to Inter, and the 27-year-old Argentinian forward will be hoping to continue his flying form against Sampdoria on 12th September.
