Former AC Milan and Roma coach Fabio Capello was impressed with the quality of Inter’s attack.

Speaking to Italian radio broadcaster Deejay Football Club (via FcInter1908) yesterday, the former Italian coach commented on the start of the Nerazzurri’s season so far.

“Inter up front, it’s a done deal. It’s enough to make a few changes without changing the spectrum. They play from memory.

“Without Handanovic’s mistake Verona never did anything. They’ll have a few more problems in attack, but Inter have quality and with Correa there’s an extra hit.”

The 27-year-old Joaquin Correa massively impressed in his Nerazzurri debut, scoring a brace after coming on as a substitute in the second half to secure the three points for the Milanese club against Hellas Verona on Friday night.

Coach Simone Inzaghi has gotten off to a flying start in Milan, with two wins out of two so far. The Milanese club’s next league game of the season is against Sampdoria on 12th September, after the upcoming international break.

Inter’s first tough test of the season will take place a few days after that on 15th September, when they’ll face Real Madrid in their Champions League opener.

Inzaghi guided Lazio to the Champions League Round of 16 last season and will be hoping to match or improve on that with Inter this season.
