Injured Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is hoping to be fit for the next game against Sampdoria.

As reported by today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport, the 32-year-old Chilean forward has been suffering with muscle problems for a few weeks now and has missed the first two games of the season against Genoa and Hellas Verona.

However, the former Arsenal man is feeling better now and is hoping to be available in time for the match against Sampdoria on Sunday 12th September, after the upcoming international break.

Sanchez had several days of physical therapy in Barcelona and has been back in Milan for a week now.

Because of this, Inter are not pushing to find another forward on the transfer market, with young Uruguayan Martin Satriano being coach Simone Inzaghi’s fifth choice forward.

The 32-year-old Sanchez, who is contracted to Inter until 2023, scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 30 league appearances last campaign.
