New Inter striker Joaquin Correa can be paired with any of the other forwards in the squad.

As reported in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the 27-year-old Argentinian forward has already won over the Nerazzurri environment in less than a week, with his brace against Hellas Verona securing another three points for the Milanese club.

Under coach Simone Inzaghi, Correa is able to play alongside Lautaro Martinez, Edin Dzeko or Alexis Sanchez with ease, as he is comfortable being both the main and second striker.

The 45-year-old Italian coach could even consider an attacking trident involving Correa if needed, although this seems a little unlikely as the former Lazio coach is a fan of his trusted 3-5-2 system.

This is a more fluid attack compared to the one available to previous coach Antonio Conte, who had a consolidated duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro.

Inzaghi, in comparison, has the luxury of a variety of different configurations, depending on the opponents.
