Inter have signed former Chievo Verona youngster Donart Lubishtani on a free transfer.

As reported by Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today, the Nerazzurri signed the 17-year-old Kosovan full back on a free transfer, beating out their competition from both Italy and abroad.

Lubishtani is the third player signed by Inter that was formerly contracted to Chievo Verona, following 16-year-old midfielder Jacopo Martini and 16-year-old right back Mike Aidoo.

Chievo Verona were dissolved earlier this summer due to significant financial troubles, although long-time captain Sergio Pellissier is working on setting up a phoenix club.

The 17-year-old Lubishtani will join Inter’s Primavera squad, which is currently being coached by Cristian Chivu.

The deal has been completed and the official announcement is expected to arrive soon. The Swedish-born left back has played for Kosovo’s youth teams and has the potential to grow into a strong player in the future.

The Nerazzurri are always working to sign exciting youth prospects who can either be developed into first team players or sold for profit.
