Inter youngsters Eddie Salcedo and Gaetano Oristanio have been called up for Italy’s Under-20 squad.

As reported by Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today, coach Alberto Bollini has announced the squad list for the matches against Poland, in an 8-nation tournament, on 2nd September and Serbia, a friendly, on 6th September.

The 19-year-old Salcedo and the 18-year-old Oristanio have both made the cut and will be hoping to feature in the upcoming two matches.

Salcedo, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, is likely to leave the club on loan in the next few days, where he will be given more consistent playing time.

Last campaign, the Italian teenager made 21 Serie A appearances for Hellas Verona, for a total of 746 minutes. In that time, he scored two goals and provided one assist.

Oristanio has already secured his loan move, joining Dutch side FC Volendam on a season-long loan, where he’s already made three appearances this season.
