Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is likely to sign his contract renewal with the Nerazzurri next week.

As reported in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera, the 24-year-old Argentinian forward has agreed an agreement to renew his deal with the Milanese club, with his salary been raised to around €6.5 million net per season.

The four-year deal, which includes an option for a fifth year, is likely to be signed by Correa next week on Wednesday, when there will be a new meeting between the parties.

New signing Joaquin Correa will be happy with the agreement, finally joining his national teammate in the Lombardy capital.

Other reports have suggested that Inter have not included a release clause in Lautaro’s new deal, not wanting to lose the player next summer.

The 24-year-old Lautaro has already started the season well under coach Simone Inzaghi, scoring the equaliser against Hellas Verona on Friday.
