Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez is still holding out for a move to Inter before the transfer window slams shut, though the Nerazzurri are not currently moving for him.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 25-year-old is still determined to make the switch with two days left before the end of the summer window.

Nandez had reportedly been close to Inter a few weeks ago, with the Nerazzurri in advanced talks with the Rossoblu on a move for him and the player very keen having agreed terms with Inter.

However, the negotiations with Cagliari broke down and Inter moved on to other targets, leaving the player with the Sardinians despite desiring a move away.

Nandez has started both of Cagliari’s opening two fixtures of the Serie A season, but his desire is still to make the move to the Giuseppe Meazza, though it remains to be seen if there is any chance of him getting his wish.
