The Inter players who remain in Milan during the international break will resume training with coach Simone Inzaghi on Wednesday of this week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that relatively few players remain of the main squad but that those who are not with their national sides, training will start up after four days of rest following the Serie A clash with Hellas Verona last Friday.

Aleksandar Kolarov, Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Matteo Darmian, and Federico Dimarco have not received call-ups from their national teams, but will be expected to return to training on Wednesday and to keep working during the international break.

Meanwhile, the likes of Roberto Gagliardini and Alexis Sanchez are still recovering from injury and their progress will be monitored through the break, with the former expected to be available for selection during the Nerazzurri’s first game back after the international break, away to Sampdoria, while the latter’s case is less certain.
