Inter wing-back Valentino Lazaro is all set to complete his loan move to Portuguese giants Benfica, with the 25-year-old already in Lisbon ahead of making the switch.
This according to Portuguese news outlet Mais Futebol, who report in a tweet that the Austrian has arrived in the city where he will soon become a Benfica player.
Benfica have been pursuing Lazaro for some weeks now, with the Lisbon-based side the favourites for his signature amid interest from a number of clubs in the out-of-favour Nerazzurri man.
They have not as of yet gotten a deal over the line for the player, who has been expected to depart from the Giuseppe Meazza since his return from a loan with Borussia Monchengladbach last season, but they appear to be all set.
Lazaro should officially become a Benfica player in the next day or two before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.
The tweet reads: “VIDEO: Valentino Lázaro is already in Portugal and will be joining Benfica”
