Inter target Keita Balde is all set to complete a move from Monaco to Cagliari before the end of the transfer window.

This is announced by a tweet from Rossoblu President Tommaso Giulini, who tweeted a message with the Senegalese flag (Balde’s nationality) surrounded by red and blue hearts to confirm that the player is on his way.

The Nerazzurri had been heavily interested in the 26-year-old throughout the window, with the striker thought to be on his way out at Monaco and hoping for a reunion with former Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi at the Giuseppe Meazza.

In the end, the Nerazzurri settled on other attacking targets and had no room for the Senegalese attacker in their squad, but he will still return to Serie A.

Balde, who has spent one season on loan at Inter during the 2018-19 campaign, will play for Cagliari this season, having also been tracked by Sampdoria where he was on loan last season.
