Inter are happy to see young striker Sebastiano Esposito’s on-pitch success on loan in Switzerland, with the 19-year-old currently starring for Basel.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri could hope to have the player available to them in their squad next season should his form continue to impress at the level it has been after multiple goals and assists for the Swiss giants.

Esposito joined Basel on loan after spending last season in Serie B with S.P.A.L. and then Venezia, and he is already making a significant impression, with four goals and four assists between the league and the Conference League catching the eye of many observers.

The Nerazzurri could look to send Esposito out on loan again for the next season to continue on his impressive development path, but given the rapid acceleration of his form he could also be looked to as a first-team option as early as next season.
