Inter are still considering Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic a target, and could move for the Serb next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 28-year-old remains in the Nerazzurri’s consideration and could be signed as a replacement for Ivan Perisic should the Croat leave at the end of his contract next summer as looks likely.

Kostic is a long-term target for Inter who have been linked with the Eintracht player for several transfer windows, and the club looked to be pursuing him this summer as they searched for a left-sided player.

However, in the end the club opted not to sign a left-wing-back and instead have kept Perisic and the squad and will rely on loan returnee Federico Dimarco, while Kostic remains at his club in Germany despite also having been a target for Lazio this summer.

Should Perisic be allowed to leave next summer when his deal expires, however, Kostic could become a major target for Inter again.
