Inter are ready to hold contract talks with several key players, with extensions for the likes of Nicolo Barella, Stefan de Vrij, Marcelo Brozovic, and Milan Skriniar on the agenda.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri have found an agreement with striker Lautaro Martinez on a new deal and will soon move on to other important squad members.

Brozovic is the most pressing, with the midfielder’s current deal set to run out at the end of June 2022, and the 28-year-old is reportedly demanding a wage increase to €4.5-5 million net per season, in line with new midfield signing Hakan Calhanoglu, to stay on past next summer.

Meanwhile, Barella’s deal still has three years left on it, but the 24-year-old has been promised improved financial terms and will be offered an improved deal which secures his future by taking him beyond the summer of 2024.

Lastly, key central defenders de Vrij’s and Skriniar’s deals both run until the end of June 2023, and with fellow centre-back Alessandro Bastoni already having been handed a new deal this summer the Nerazzurri will look to extend the other two members of the trio.
