Inter have signed a deal worth €85 million with technology companies Zytara Labs and DigitalBits, both involved in the blockchain sector.

This is announced on the club’s official site, where Zytara is unveiled as the Nerazzurri’s new Official Global Digital Banking Partner, and DigitalBits as the sleeve sponsor in conjunction with the partnership.

The announcement notes that Zytara will be working with the Nerazzurri to update the official Inter app to be integrated with the Zytara digitial banking platform, which will allow fans to use the app to do things like purchase matchday tickets for home games using DigitalBits cryptocurrency.

The partnership is part of Zytara’s effort to expand into the European market by partnering with a major European football club.

In addition to the banking partnership with Zytara and DigitalBits, the Nerazzurri will also complete the ensemble on sponsors on their matchday shirts with the DigitalBits appearing on the sleeves, alongside the Socios.com logo on the front and the Lenovo logo on the back.

Inter’s Corporate CEO Alessandro Antontello stated, “We are proud to welcome Zytara as our new global partner and for Inter to officially join the DigitalBits ecosystem, who will also become our new sleeve sponsor. This agreement reflects Inter’s commitment to set the global standard for technological excellence.”

He went on, “While digital-first experiences are vital for all sport clubs, our partnership aims higher. By leveraging Zytara digital banking and blockchain technology we will be able to enhance our global reach towards younger and digital savvy audiences.”

Zytara and DigitalBits founder Al Burgio stated on the partnership, “This partnership with Inter, much like their heritage, is focused on excellence. Our collaboration will position Inter as one of the most technologically advanced and forward- thinking clubs in the world. We’re thrilled to partner with the reigning Italian champions and a club with such a rich history.”
