Inter are hoping to extend the contract of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic soon, with the player the subject of interest from the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that Barcelona in particular are interested in signing the Croatian midfielder next summer on a free transfer should he not renew with the Nerazzurri, with his current deal set to expire at the end of June 2022.

Brozovic is a key player at Inter and the club are determined to keep the 28-year-old in their squad past next summer, and will soon look to get his contract situation wrapped up.

However, should the talks on a new deal not progress smoothly, Barcelona and PSG are both ready to swoop for him next summer if they can acquire his signature as a free agent.

The Nerazzurri will want to make sure a renewal is agreed soon to avoid possibly losing the Croat on a free transfer next summer.
