Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has recovered from a knee injury and is expected to be available for selection for the Nerazzurri’s first game back after the international break against Sampdoria.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 27-year-old’s knee injury sustained in training a few weeks ago looks to be behind him.

Gagliardini was absent from Inter’s first two matches of the Serie A season, against Genoa and Hellas Verona, as he continued on his recovery path from the knee problem and was not training with the squad.

However, the midfielder looks to be ready to return to the pitch very soon, as he is training with the rest of the squad and only needs to get back up to full match fitness before he is available to head coach Simone Inzaghi, likely in time for the club’s Serie A return following the international break.
