The ex-Italian Football Federation president Carlo Tavecchio has had his say on who he thinks will win the Serie A title this season after a summer of much change at many clubs, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking to Radio Marte, with quotes reported by FcINternews, Carlo Tavecchio explained how he thinks there are four teams that are in with a realistic chance of winning the title this year.

“I think one of Inter, Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan will win the Scudetto.”

It is interesting that Carlo Tavecchio still sees Inter as valid challengers to retain their title as many other believe that the loss of Antonio Conte as well as two star players, Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, takes them out of the running.

The prediction that Carlo Tavecchio makes shows that he thinks Atalanta will have a worse season than they did last year, even though many feel they have had a very good summer transfer window.

He also appears to have little hope in Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma.
