Italian former footballer Giuseppe Pancaro has explained how he thinks Inter are a much more unpredictable team this season than they were last year, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking to TMW Radio, with quotes reported by FcINternews, Giuseppe Pancaro explained how the players that inter have lost this summer and the fact they have a new manager means they are more of an unknown quantity and it is hard to predict how they will fare this season.

The key departures from the club that Giuseppe Pancaro picks out are of course Romelu Lukaku, who left for Chelsea late in the summer transfer window, and Achraf Hakimi who left much earlier for Paris Saint Germain.

“It is Inter by right who could win the Scudetto, having won last year. It is true that Lukaku and Hakimi have been lost.”

To offset that though, there is praise for the coach that Inter chose when Antonio Conte suddenly left the club at the end of the Scudetto winning season.

“They have a technician in Inzaghi who is very good.”

Finally, Giuseppe Pancaro points out that the club have signed functional players that can steady the ship and perform well.

“They signed players, like Correa, who are functional. They are more unpredictable.”
