Inter are still keeping a very close eye on Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic as a replacement for Ivan Perisic, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter’s transfer attentions are turning to the Serbian winger who was also seriously looked at during the summer when it seemed that Ivan Perisic would be leaving the club.

The Croatian has stayed with the Nerazzurri for another year but his contract runs out next summer and it is not expected that he will remain at the club.

This leaves Inter to chase the 28-year-old left winger who Lazio also tried very hard to sign this summer. It was widely reported that Eintracht Frankfurt purposely gave Lazio an incorrect email address so they could tell the player that no official bid came in.

The player’s agent found out about this and it seems to have caused a major rift between Filip Kostic and the club.
