Young Inter striker Martin Satriano could play a key role for Inter against Sampdoria next weekend as Simone Inzaghi seeks to balance his squad ahead of the Champions League fixtures, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Uruguayan has already made his competitive debut for the side by coming off the bench in the 4-0 win over Genoa on the opening day of the season.

Against Sampdoria though, he could play a lot more minutes or even start the game. This is because Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa will only return from their international duties with Argentina shortly before the trip to Genoa.

Not only that, but a few days after the Sampdoria match, Inter will kick off their Champions League group stage campaign against Real Madrid.

Simone Inzaghi may want his Argentinian strikers to be fresh for that match so may not start them against Sampdoria.
