Inter are already in discussions with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana to bring him to the club next summer as the new first-choice goalkeeper, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Cameroonian goalkeeper is definitely going to be leaving Ajax either in the summer as a free agent or even for a fee in January.

If he were to be signed in January, the fee would likely be much lower than his market value due to the fact that Ajax knows it is their last chance to get any money for the goalkeeper.

Inter are seeking a replacement for 39-year-old Samir Handanovic and there does not appear to be anyone else in the squad who can step up to the plate.

Andre Onana has been identified by the club as the best available option so the club are now pressing ahead to get an agreement in place.
