Inter’s two Argentinian strikers could be on the bench for the World Cup qualifier against Brazil according to comments made to the Argentinian broadcast media by the head coach.

As has been reported by Tyc Sports in Argentina, the head coach, Lionel Scaloni, could look to make a lot of changes from the previous Argentina match against Venezuela.

“The idea will certainly be to make some changes.”

The two Inter strikers both started that match so it may mean they are in for a reduced role this evening. That may please Simone Inzaghi and the Inter fans as they will not want to see any of their players picking up injuries whilst on international duty.

Lionel Scaloni spoke very highly of tonight’s opponents before the match, despite the fact that Argentina beat Brazil in the Copa America final this summer.

“Brazil is the greatest winner of all time. We know that they play at home and that we play against a team that has won the seven games, but we take all the games in the same way and with the utmost confidence.”

It is expected that Simone Inzaghi will rest the two Argentines against Sampdoria in order to keep them fresh for the Real Madrid game.
