Inter are retaining their interest in Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard as many expect him to get limited game time in the Premier League with the Red Devils, according to a report in the English media today.

As has been reported in England by 90min.com, Inter are one of a number of teams that were keen on the attacking midfielder in the summer and are waiting for the situation this season to unfold.

Jesse Lingard fell out of favour at Manchester United in the 2020/21 season when Bruno Fernandes was signed, so he spent half the year on loan at West Ham United.

He played incredibly well there which led to many teams showing their interest to buy him on a permanent deal.

Inter are one of these teams, along with Atletico Madrid. His deal at Manchester United expires in 2022 so the potential for a free transfer is not very unlikely.
