Inter Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello could be elected to the board of the European Club Association, who are set to meet today and tomorrow and decide on three new board members.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri executive could replace President Steven Zhang as an Italian representative with the Association.

The ECA are meeting without the involvement of former members Juventus, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, who remain committed to the Super League project while the rest of the clubs involved have been allowed back in.

PSG’s Nasser El-Khelaifi takes the place of Andrea Agnelli as the President of the association after the Bianconeri President stepped down from his role in the ECA as part of the attempt to form the Super League.

Meanwhile, new representatives on the board of directors are set to be chosen, with Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Gil Marin set to be chosen for Spain, and either Manchester City’s Ferran Soriano or Tottenham Hotspur’s Daniel Levy expected to represent England.

For Italy, it is likely that Nerazzurri’s Corporate CEO Antonello will be elected to a seat on the board.
