Inter are still interested in Torino captain Andrea Belotti, though they are only likely to sign him should he not agree on a new contract with his current club.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 27-year-old is still on the Nerazzurri’s radar and that they are following his contract talks with the Granata.

Inter considered Belotti to be a target towards the end of the summer transfer window, with the striker likely to be available from his club given that he has yet to agree an extension on his contract which is set to run out next summer.

However, the Nerazzurri moved for Lazio forward Joaquin Correa instead of the Granata captain as the last signing made in their search for attacking reinforcements.

Belotti has not yet agreed on a new deal with Torino, and should talks remain at a standstill then the Nerazzurri could still move for him next summer when he is a free agent.
