Inter will play with a rotated starting lineup in this weekend’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria, with head coach Simone Inzaghi set to give some key figures a rest after the international break.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri could see starts for the likes of Danilo D’Ambrosio, Federico Dimarco, and Stefano Sensi at the Marasssi.

The international break has been the cause of some selection headaches for the manager Inzaghi, with players away with South American national teams in particular not expected to return until the eleventh hour.

As such, Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa are not likely to be fully ready to start against Sampdoria and the coach will revert to the system used against Genoa, with Stefano Sensi likely to start as an attacking midfielder behind Edin Dzeko.

Meanwhile, Ivan Perisic and Milan Skriniar could drop out of the starting eleven, with their places taken by the likes of Dimarco and D’Ambrosio in the team respectively as Inzaghi looks to rotate the squad with a view to not exhausting players over a long season competing on multiple fronts.
