Inter’s South American players are expected to return to Milan on Friday evening, with the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Joaquin Correa, Matias Vecino, and Arturo Vidal set to land at around 20:00.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the flight scheduled for Serie A players returning from international duty with South American national times is expected to have them back by Friday night.

Serie A teams have been concerned with how long the South American 2022 World Cup qualifiers are set to run over the international break, and the league has organized a charter to bring them back as soon as possible.

The Nerazzurri have four squad members currently active with South American national team, and they will expect them back just before the weekend.

Inter’s first game back after the break is away to Sampdoria, early on Sunday afternoon, and so the players returning will have all of Saturday to recover and prepare for the match but not much more time.
