Inter winger Ivan Perisic believes that between the club and international calendar, the fixture list is set to be hectic and very taxing on the players, although he trusts his coaches to get the best out of players and rotate properly.
Speaking to Croatian news outlet index.hr, the 32-year-old gave the view that teams will have to make use of all of their players to get through the busy and congested schedules that they face.
The first international break of the season arrived after only two Serie A matches were played, and the majority of the Nerazzurri squad have been with their international teams and faced three World Cup qualifiers.
There will be plenty of club action to come in the coming months, between domestic fixtures and the Champions League, while the international qualifiers are far from done even when the players return to their clubs from this international break.
Accordingly, rotation will be important to prevent fatigue across all the commitments of many players.
“Everything is condensed in a short time,” is how Perisic characterized the fixture list, “those who get through it will speak, we have many games and for this there are squads of 25 players, so that the coach can rotate the squad.”
