Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is set to start for the Argentine national team in their 2022 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia on Thursday.

This according to Argentine broadcaster TYC Sport, who report that the 24-year-old is likely to be selected in coach Lionel Scaloni’s starting eleven for the fixture, while his club teammate Joaquin Correa is likely to remain as an option from the bench.

Martinez started the Albiceleste’s clash with Brazil in Rio de Janeiro over the weekend, though the fixture ultimately had to be abandoned after only a few minutes played.

The Nerazzurri man is set to keep his place in the starting eleven for the Bolivia clash, with the head coach trusting him as a key part of the team’s attack as they look to take another step close to wrapping up qualification for the World Cup finals in Qatar.

The predicted lineup is as follows:

Argentina (4-2-3-1): Juan Musso; Gonzalo Montiel, Germán Pezzella, Nicolás Otamendi, Marcos Acuña; Rodrigo De Paul, Leandro Paredes; Angel Di María, Lionel Messi, Nicolás González; Lautaro Martinez
