Newly-arrived young Inter forward Kevin Zefi is excited to make the step up to the Nerazzurri, having already enjoyed his time on trial with the club.

Speaking in an announcement on the official site of his former club Shamrock Rovers, the 16-year-old explains that he looks forward to life as an Inter player and that he doesn’t think he’ll have much trouble adapting to life with his new club.

Zefi is considered an exciting prospect in Irish football, and while his talent is nowhere near fully developed, he could be someone who makes a significant impression in the years to come at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The teenager doesn’t believe that he’ll struggle with the transition to his new club, having already spent time getting used to it on trial and having felt at home on both a footballing level as well as on a personal level during that time.

“I went over in February for a month. I was just getting a feel for the team, seeing how it was and I liked it,” he said of his time on trial with the Nerazzurri.

On speaking Italian, he said that “I have been learning Italian and I knew a little bit before that. I have some family in Italy and I’m doing it in school so I think I’m good with it.”
