Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to turn to striker Edin Dzeko to lead the line against Sampdoria in Serie A on Sunday.

According to Italian television broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, Inzaghi may face limited options for the trip to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, with those on international duty in South America not expected to return to training until Saturday.

With forwards Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa, as well as midfielders Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino, not returning to Italy until Friday, summer arrival Dzeko is likely to be amongst the starters.

Elsewhere, Croatia international Marcelo Brozovic could be named in the starting line-up, whilst fellow midfielder Stefano Sensi is hoping to force his way back into the reckoning after returning to group training following injury.

Inter are looking to maintain their winning start to life under new coach Inzaghi, having recorded victories over Genoa and Hellas Verona in their opening two Serie A matches.
