Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has chosen his favourite midfield three that he wants to be in his strongest eleven going forward, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi wants to make his midfield three as obvious a choice and partnership as his three centre-backs are.

The players in question are Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, and new signing Hakan Calhanoglu. Simone Inzaghi likes the number of tackles that Marcelo Brozovic makes, he has made the most in Serie A out of anyone so far this season.

The relentless work rate and skill levels from Nicolo Barella are essential to the team now, and Hakan Calhanoglu offers an exquisite end product that will likely be responsible for a lot of Inter goals this season.

He wants them to form a partnership that is similar to the one Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, and Alessandro Bastoni have at the back.
