Simone Inzaghi will not drop Samir Handanovic in favour of Andrei Radu for the Sampdoria match despite the mistake that he made against Hellas Verona, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, there is no doubt that the Inter captain will be between the sticks for the Nerazzurri on Sunday as the team try to make it three wins out of three to start the Serie A title defence.

The mistakes made last season by Samir Handanovic, coupled with the one he made before the international break against Hellas Verona, has led to many fans wanting the Slovenian to be replaced in goal by Andrei Radu.

It sounds extremely unlikely that this will happen anytime soon though because Samir Handanovic is definitively the first-choice goalkeeper.

That being said, it is clear that the club are starting to plan for a future without the 37-year-old.
