Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is determined to put the mistake he made against Hellas Verona behind him and prove his worth to the Nerazzurri, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Inter captain has had to spend two weeks waiting for an opportunity to put the mistake properly behind him due to the international break.

Simone Inzaghi still reportedly has full confidence in the Slovenian, and the effect of the mistake was limited thanks to Joaquin Correa scoring two late goals to win the game for Inter.

Samir Handanovic is also well aware that Inter are serously interested in signing Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana.

With the adavanced age of Samir Handanovic and the errors that have crept into his game, Inter are starting to plan for a future without their captain as the number one goalkeeper at the club.
