French side Paris Saint Germain are keeping a very close eye on the developments between Inter and Marcelo Brozovic as they wait to make a move for the Croatian, according to a report in the French print media.

As has been reported in France by Le10sport.com, Paris Saint Germain’s sporting director, Leonardo, is very keen on making the Croatian midfielder part of his side and is even keener on the prospect of signing him on a free transfer.

Marcelo Brozovic wants to stay at Inter and has made that clear to the club, but he wants to be paid in the region of €5 million per season. Inter will likely pay this and it is thought a deal is close.

Attention from a club such as Paris Saint Germain could derail negotiations though because they will be able to offer much more money to the midfielder than Inter can right now.

The current deal expires in June 2022.
